Baroque Style Furniture

Shop Baroque style furniture at Mobilia Cleopatra. Every piece in this collection comes from our own Kleopatra Kingdom line: handmade sofa sets, sofas, accent chairs, loveseats and occasional tables with deeply carved, gilded frames and rich upholstery. Nearly every piece is built from solid wood, and every item can be custom-made to your size, wood finish and upholstery.

What makes furniture Baroque?

Baroque furniture, the grand court style associated with 17th-century Europe and the reign of Louis XIV in France, is about scale and drama: heavy carved frames, bold scrolls and acanthus leaves, symmetrical silhouettes and gilded surfaces meant to impress. It is more massive and formal than the lighter, curving Rococo style that followed. For a side-by-side look at how it differs from later styles, read our guide to Victorian vs Baroque furniture.

Baroque sofa sets and chairs

Sofa sets and accent chairs are the heart of our Baroque collection, with upholstery from beige and champagne to green, blue and red, set on gold, silver or brown carved frames. Coffee tables, end tables and consoles in matching finishes complete a formal living room.
