Mellone Mid-Century Modern Sofa in Olive Green

The Mellone sofa, model FM64007GR-SF, is a mid-century modern sofa in olive green chenille and faux fur. From Furniture of America, it works in a living room that wants a green accent.

Design and materials

• Upholstery: olive green chenille and faux fur
• Frame: wood, dark cherry and driftwood oak finish
• Style: mid-century modern
• Size: 83.8″W x 34.5″D x 32.6″H

Olive green goes well with natural wood, cream and brown tones. A sofa sets the tone of a living room, so choose pillows and a throw in a second color to adjust the look. Place a rug so the front legs of the sofa rest on it.

Sizing and placement

At 83.8 inches wide, it needs a wall of about 7 feet. Leave about 18 inches between the sofa and a coffee table, and about 30 inches of walkway around it. Measure doorways and hallways on the way in, and compare the size above with your wall.

Style it with

The Northwich Stone Coffee Table and the Roxo Sofa Table go with it. You can also compare the Watton Olive Green Chenille Sofa, or browse all sofas.
