Kolvere Contemporary Black Chenille Sofa

The Kolvere sofa, model FM61006BK-SF, is a contemporary sofa in black chenille. From Furniture of America, it fits a living room that wants a dark, clean-lined seat.

Design and materials

• Upholstery: black chenille over foam
• Frame: solid wood and other materials, natural finish
• Style: contemporary
• Size: 87.5″W x 38″D x 29″H

Black chenille pairs with light walls, gray rugs and wood accents. A sofa sets the tone of a living room, so choose pillows and a throw in a second color to adjust the look. Place a rug so the front legs of the sofa rest on it.

Sizing and placement

At 87.5 inches wide, it needs a wall of about 7 feet. Leave about 18 inches between the sofa and a coffee table, and about 30 inches of walkway around it. Measure doorways and hallways on the way in, and compare the size above with your wall.

Style it with

The Nolfi Travertine Coffee Table and the Nolfi Travertine End Table go with it. You can also compare the Vermon Gray Chenille Sofa, or browse all sofas.
