Gabriel 5PC Brown Extension Dining Set By Coaster Furniture

A Coordinated Dining Set

The Gabriel Brown Extension Dining Set by Coaster Furniture brings an oval table and four lattice-back chairs together in a transitional design. Made to seat four, this five-piece arrangement pairs a Brown finish on the wood components with Beige upholstered chair seats.

The table and chairs form a coordinated dining room set rather than a collection of separately described pieces. Their shared finish connects the arrangement, while the contrast between the upholstered seats and wood frames gives the chairs a distinct place in the design.

Oval Table Design

The tabletop has softly rounded ends that establish its oval outline. Beneath it, a smooth apron joins the top visually to the tapered legs. These details give the table a simple profile that complements the open grid pattern on the chair backs.

The table measures 42 to 60 inches wide, 42 inches deep and 30 inches high. Its listed width range reflects the extension design, allowing the tabletop to provide a larger surface when the removable leaf is in place.

Removable Extension Leaf

The included leaf can be removed when the smaller table configuration is preferred. Wood gear glides support the extension mechanism, and a brass-plated lock and alignment pins secure the leaf once it is positioned. These components are part of the table’s extension design.

The set includes four chairs in either table configuration. The extension changes the tabletop surface, not the number of chairs supplied with this five-piece dining set.

Lattice-Back Dining Chairs

Each chair features an open grid lattice back. The intersecting lines create a geometric detail above the upholstered seat and offer a different visual rhythm from the rounded ends of the table. The Brown finish ties the chair frames to the table.

With four matching chairs arranged around the table, the set provides a consistent look across the dining area. The open backs keep the lattice pattern visible, while the contrasting upholstery distinguishes the seats from the surrounding wood components.

Foam-Cushioned Upholstery

The chair seats are upholstered in Beige microfiber made from 100% polyester. Foam cushioning is included in the seats, adding a padded surface to each chair. The Beige upholstery provides a contrast against the Brown finish used on the frames.

The upholstered seats and lattice backs are separate design elements: the seats introduce fabric and foam, while the open backs display the grid pattern. Both details are repeated across all four chairs for a coordinated appearance.

Materials and Construction

The vendor lists wood, foam, laminated veneer lumber, rubberwood and Asian hardwood among the materials used in the set. Laminated veneer lumber, also identified as LVL, is an engineered wood product. Rubberwood and engineered wood carry the Brown finish throughout the design.

Polyester microfiber covers the chair seats, with foam used for cushioning. The table’s extension mechanism also includes wood gear glides, along with the brass-plated lock and alignment pins used to secure the removable leaf.

Dimensions and Assembly

Table Measurements

The table’s 42-to-60-inch width range describes the surface before and after extension. Its listed depth is 42 inches and its height is 30 inches. The stated weight of 72.17 pounds applies to the table, not to the complete set of table and chairs.

Assembly Details

Full assembly is required for the Gabriel Brown Extension Dining Set. The set is made in Malaysia and includes the oval extension table and four matching chairs. Its combination of a removable leaf, lattice backs and upholstered seats brings the individual pieces together in one dining arrangement.
