Alston 7-Piece Brown Dining Set By Coaster

Alston Brown Dining Set

The Alston Brown Dining Set pairs a rectangular table with ladder-back seating for a coordinated dining arrangement. This seven-piece configuration creates a cohesive setting for shared meals, gatherings, and everyday dining. Brown defines the wood components, while padded fabric seats add an upholstered element to the design. Rustic character comes through in the visible wood grain variation, hand-worked details, and straightforward silhouette, making the set appropriate for both casual and formal dining spaces.

Built around durable wood construction, the set brings together a substantial dining surface and seating designed for regular use. The table and chairs are made with solid rubberwood, and the listed construction materials also include laminated veneer lumber and plywood. These materials support the collection’s practical, grounded character while maintaining the natural presence of its wood surfaces.

Table Design and Construction

Rectangular Dining Surface

The rectangular dining table provides a defined surface for place settings, serving pieces, and everyday meals. Its tabletop features hand-planed edges that create an artisanal live-edge appearance without changing the table’s clean rectangular form. Organic grain markings remain a visible part of the design, giving each wood surface a naturally varied look.

Beneath the top, a trestle-style X-base establishes the table’s distinctive profile. The crossed supports and central stretcher create a structural focal point that complements the table’s rustic styling. This base design gives the Brown Dining Set a balanced combination of straightforward lines and handcrafted visual detail, with the table serving as the central piece of the arrangement.

Ladder-Back Seating

Padded Fabric Seats

The accompanying dining chairs feature ladder backs that echo the table’s simple, rustic construction. Their padded seats offer a comfortable place to sit through meals and conversations, while the fabric upholstery adds a soft contrast to the surrounding wood. The upholstery is a polyester-and-cotton blend, composed of 95 percent polyester and 5 percent cotton.

Foam is included in the seat construction to provide padding beneath the fabric. The chairs retain the same Brown wood presence as the table, allowing the upholstered seats and ladder-back frames to read as a coordinated part of the complete set. Together, the table and chairs offer an inviting dining setting with a consistent material and color story.

Rustic Character

The Alston Brown Dining Set focuses on details that give a wood dining group a relaxed, handcrafted appearance. Hand-planed tabletop edges, natural grain variation, and the trestle-style base add visual interest without relying on elaborate ornament. The result is a dining set with a warm, approachable look that can anchor a dining room while keeping the overall setting casual and composed.

The mix of a rectangular top, X-base supports, and ladder-back chairs creates a clear visual rhythm across the collection. Brown wood surfaces remain the unifying feature, and the padded fabric seats introduce texture at each place setting. This combination makes the set suitable for homes seeking a rustic dining arrangement with practical upholstered seating.

Table Measurements and Assembly

The dining table measures 70.75 inches wide, 35.50 inches deep, and 30 inches high. These measurements apply to the table component of the set. Full assembly is required. Once assembled, the rectangular table, trestle-style base, and coordinating ladder-back chairs form a unified dining group centered on solid rubberwood construction, padded fabric seating, and a rustic Brown finish.
